Lace up those corsets ladies and buckle those braces boys The Australian Burlesque Festival is coming to Sydney! Now in its fourth year, the travelling festival opens in June for another deliciously sexy season, and it is sure to have its fair share of glitter, heels and femme fatales.

Two extravagant performances will be embracing Sydney. Nouvelle Royale is the best in neo-burlesque and The Big Tease is a traditional show with a “bump and grind” attitude.

The beautiful Tasia is one of the headline acts of The Big Tease. She says audiences can look forward to “big personalities and lots of sparkle!” Tasia specialises in showcasing ‘woman’, “we can be beautiful, powerful, ferocious and sexy,” she says. Tasia describes her shows as always having “a little element of danger”, as she likes to have an “up close and personal experience with the audience.”

Dripping in old world charm and popping with bubbles of French champagne, these performances will send audiences into a frenzy worthy of the Moulin Rouge! (ATS)
