LITTLE DARLINGS NIGHT OWLS KIDS’ FILM FESTIVAL

LITTLE DARLINGS NIGHT OWLS KIDS’ FILM FESTIVAL

Teaming up the Darling Quarter and Australia’s leading short film festival Little Big Shots, is this summertime slice of short and sweet celluloid treats alongside filmic classics for young and old alike.

Family favourites such as Fantasia 2000, Toy Story and High School Musical will be launched each eve by a 15 minute taste-tester of shorts, animations and documentaries. If you like the sound of the entree over the main, Jan 20th is your best bet, with a 90-minute mixed plate of the best shorts including acclaimed British animation, The Gruffalo’s Child.

Says Festival Director Ben Laden, “We’re looking forward to providing free films that are entertaining, inspiring, meaningful, and something that the whole family can enjoy together.”

Pack a bento box and bean bag, and consider your school holidays excursion sorted.

Until Jan 22, from 6.30pm, Village Green, Darling Quarter, 1-25 Harbour St, Sydney, free, darlingquarter.com
