PIXAR IN CONCERT

PIXAR IN CONCERT

Pixar Animation Studios cross cultural and geographical barriers and speak in a universal language. That language is colour, movement, gentle humour and music.

As a sonic precursor to this year’s Graphic Festival, and the much-anticipated presentation from Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will play the scores of classic Pixar films, such as the Toy Story trilogy, Finding Nemo, and Monsters Inc. Woody, Buzz, Nemo, Dory and Sully will dance in the background as the orchestra fills the hall with the themes that made us smile and hum.

Featuring music composed by Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, and Patrick Doyle, the show will stun audiences with its audacious and playful mixture of award winning music, world class orchestra and brilliant animation. Not just incredible… The Incredibles.

Nov 2-3, Sydney Opera House, $35-99, 8215 4600, sydneysymphony.com
