Entering its third titillating year, the Miss Burlesque Australia competition is gearing up for its night of nights – the grand final. Winners from the various states will converge on the Enmore Theatre for a one-night only extravaganza of song, dance, and of course, burlesque.

Of the nine ladies battling it out for the title (six crowned in their respective states and three lucky “wild card” entrants), only one can take home the crown, and with up to $15,000 at stake, things are bound to get steamy. Each performer will take part in a Classic routine and Gown Parade, as well as their choice of a Neo or Unique routine.

Each category will earn the artists points towards their final score, with elements such as personality, skill, presentation, and that little something extra being judged.  In addition to the lovely ladies of the Miss category, for the very first time the competition will also be hosting a Mr Boylesque Competition. Boys will compete in a no-holds-barred Unique Routine round to nab the inaugural title. Catch the final battle at the Enmore Theatre on April 21.
