Getting in the mood

It’s finals season, and with the Tigers on a roll, Balmain is on a knife-edge. The Harold Park Hotel is getting into the mood, with the screening of a short film about Tigers legend, the late Laurie Nichols, on Tuesday, September 28. Entitled ‘Number One Fan’, the documentary celebrates the life of the renowned mischief-maker and larrikin, including Laurie’s fight to save the Balmain Tigers during the Super League war.

Also screening as an encore presentation will be five short films, selected as audience favourites over six months of weekly screenings at the pub.
