Donut mess with Waffle House

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (ajc.com) reports that a Waffle House employee is suing his local police department.

Waffle waiter Daniel Wilson, 22, has filed a lawsuit over the actions of three officers – two of whom have since resigned, with the third arrested.

The arrested officer, Corporal Gary Miles, regularly used his Taser as a pointer when ordering from the waiter. But he would also amuse his two sergeant friends by aiming his Taser’s red laser pointer at Wilson whenever warning him not to mess up their order, or if the waiter played music that he didn’t like.

Not wanting to risk his tips, Wilson tolerated the joke for months, until Miles went too far and zapped him from behind with 50,000 volts.

A few days later, Wilson asked that Miles at least apologise for the accidental electrocution, to which the policeman allegedly replied, “who says I did it by accident?”

Shocking.

He’s not from Barcelona?

AFP reports that a drunken Englishman made quite a few friends recently at Spain’s Mallorca Airport, after having arrived on a flight.

Police report that the 59-year-old, appearing unkempt and with his pants soiled by urine, seemed unaware of what he was doing… as he handed out large quantities of money to passing strangers.

Searching the man, officers found a remaining 50,000 euros in travellers’ cheques and 2000 euros in cash.

Although inquiries with the British Consulate confirmed he had recently acquired his money legally as an inheritance, no sense could be made of his intentions.

The man and his remaining cash were put on a return flight to Britain.
