And thats only the first half of Nessa Morgan’s second album Neska. Okay, I’ll stop now. Nessa Morgan has one of the best soul voices in the country. Her debut album had great songs the suffered from unsympathetic 80’s production by Dom Was. Neska, on the other hand, is “urban” in sound, far more contemporary albeit a little too American R’n’B. But what was she thinking lyrically’ Those tracks that aren’t bump,n,grind,down’n’dirty are lover-lite with titles that say it all like I Can’t Make U Love Me and Beauty Within. This girl has a killer album in her, this is a long way from it.
