If you’ve been missing your regular theatre fix the solution may be coming this weekend. From tomorrow a brand new YouTube channel titled, The Shows Must Go On, will be be showcasing a selection of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s much loved musicals.
Every Saturday at 5am a new show will be made available for a limited 48-hour viewing window, with no fees or subscriptions required. The channel will kick things off tomorrow with the enduring classic Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat before shifting to Jesus Christ Superstar next weekend.
While it may not be the exact theatre experience you’re used to this new deliver method will at least allow theatre-lovers to indulge with a Broadway or West End experience from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
