Casula Powerhouse Goes Digital

Casula Powerhouse Goes Digital

Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) have begun rolling out their interactive online programs, workshops and exhibitions for the community during this lonely self isolation period.

CPAC director, Craig Donarski says the introduction of the new “digital realm of the art centre with its launch of the new 360 walk-through of exhibitions and many more over the coming weeks and months” will “give artists a platform to show their creative works” and allow for CPAC’s audience to be “entertained in the comfort of their home.”

More than sharing content, CPAC also encourages people to share what they are doing at home and during isolation.

Donarski said, “its amazing what people can come up with during this isolation lifestyle… Some have shared outfits they have been creating to take out the bin, where people dressed up in wild and creative costumes to put out the bin as there is no occasion to dress up.”

Not only does this platform provide CPAC’s usual school holiday programs online with comics, claymation, drawing, science and art classes. CPAC also plans to introduce activities for all ages such as, simple cooking classes with CPAC’s resident Bellbird head chef Frederico Rekowski and gardening tips and techniques with in-house gardener Lauren Booth.
