With Christmas just around the corner Bluesfest’s Festival Director Peter Noble OAM has a very exciting gift for fans eagerly anticipating the 2019 iteration of the event.

This morning Noble has announced that a reunited Saboteurs will be coming to Australia to perform for the very first time ever!

“Jack White, is someone I have wanted to present at Bluesfest for a very long time. In fact, this began as a Jack White headline performance, but literally morphed into The Saboteurs when the guys decided to get back together again after 10 years, and Bluesfest has the ONLY announced show in the world currently,” said Noble.

The group known worldwide as The Raconteurs, consisting of Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keele,  originally formed in Detroit back in 2005 and were regularly hailed as one the most influential bands of all time. Despite these accolades they never toured Australia, but that is set to change this coming April when they make their debut in Australia to celebrate their 30th Anniversary by closing Bluesfest on Easter Monday.

Apr 18-22. Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, Byron Bay. $50-$930+b.f. Tickets & Info: www.bluesfest.com.au
