EuroVisions: Contemporary Art from the Goldberg Collection

The National Art School Gallery presents EuroVisions. This is a new exhibition of contemporary European artworks.

38 leading contemporary artists show their innovative practices, approaches and unique styles. Judith Blackall explains “The exhibition presents a range of media and techniques, from painting, photography and ceramics to welded and bronze-cast sculpture. Also, a diversity of conceptual approaches, innovative thinking and a sense of history. The works represent the diversity and exuberance of contemporary perspectives.”

The exhibition includes high-profile artists as Ugo Rondinone, Urs Fischer and Sarah Lucas who are among the most influential artists of the past 30 years. Furthermore, EuroVisions involves the work of seven Turner Prize winners. Additionally, include the work of Camille Henrot, Yngve Holen, Simon Fujiwara and Nicole Wermers. These artists are considered among the most exciting ‘artists to watch’ given their inventiveness.

Judith Blackall said, “The artists in EuroVisions are all important in an international context. Each pursues rigorous, individual practices, with distinctive lines of inquiry. The ‘European vision’ interrogates the complexity and breadth of the global contemporary art world. Artists move between continents and cultures. The result is a robust, unfettered creative output that incorporates a diversity of approaches.”

EuroVisions is an opportunity to appreciate the artwork from Europe under the world dynamics. The gallery shows new global trends, styles and topics.
