The Eggscellent Adventures of Stripey the Emu Chick

The Eggscellent Adventures of Stripey the Emu Chick is on this week at Glen Street Theatre. This children’s theatre production is based on the books written and illustrated by Wendy Binks. This show tells the story of Crikey, the father of thirty emu chicks who must go on a journey to find his missing son, Stripey. Along the way they meet a lot of new friends and animals including Bluey the kangaroo mum and Shuffle the Echidna.

Both Bluey and Shazza the Dazzler are played by Emma Clair Ford, who has appeared in many productions by Gary Ginivan Attractions. She says it is a wonderful tale for kids with a lot of excitement. Gary Ginivan Attractions has produced other children’s works including Wombat Stew and Possum Magic.

The Eggscellent Adventures of Stripey the Emu Chick is a great interactive play for children starting from four years of age. They can learn all about Australian animals as they help Crikey look for his lost emu chick. Tickets are available now! (LB)
