City Hub crowd funding campaign ends today!

The City Hub’s crowdfunding campaign officially ends today on Thursday May 21st. Online contributions can be accepted until 6pm. A number of perks are available when you contribute — including a range of delicious meals and tickets to a variety of films and shows.

Thus far we have collected nearly $20,000 in our campaign, which will go a long way towards ensuring that the City Hub survives. If you haven’t contributed yet, visit www.indiegogo.com/projects/don-t-make-your-news-limited and join the Hub Club. Don’t make your news limited.

After six pm today online contributions close, but you can still donate to our campaign in person at our pop up Pyrmont Festival event at Signorelli Gastronomia in Pyrmont from 6pm to 9pm. Mudgee wine is on offer as is a range of delicacies from Signorelli Gastronomia, Pyrmont’s popular Italian restaurant. Proceeds on the night go to our fund raising campaign. And you can pick up some of the perks while you’re there.

In addition to celebrating the end of our crowd funding efforts, we will herald the launch of a new community campaign in support of much needed open space on the waterfront at Ballaarat Park in Pyrmont. Drink Mudgee’s best wines, eat delicious local food, support the local media while you support the expansion of a local park and meet a range of local folks.

If you’ve already donated to our campaign, thank you for your support. Perks will be distributed next week. If you haven’t donated yet, please do so today. Every bit helps. Community support ensures that the City Hub will be able to go on printing the news and raising hell.
