A 75ml pour in a $15 cocktail is generous. Perhaps this makes The Cubby House cocktails the best value in the area. The good news though is that the cocktails are also very tasty. When I’m talking about the 75ml pour, I’m talking about my first pick of the evening: Pulp Fiction. Add a generous amount of apple and mint in the oversize garnish and this vodka cocktail packs a punch. Tucked away at the end of The Spot, the two-room bar is a lovely hideaway to enjoy the signature cocktails or the classics. Wine is mostly by the bottle, with limited choices by the glass; but that’s okay, the real treat here is in both the eating AND the fifteen buck drinking. Pair a cocktail with the best haloumi – home made by a Greek grandmother – in town.
