CAT PROTECTION SOCIETY OP SHOP

Buried deep in Newtown is the unassuming Cat Protection Society op shop. It’s a smallish space but staff assure us it only makes them more selective with the pieces for display. And it’s true: brightly lit and organised with clothing to the left and home wares on the right, It’s definitely more vintage digging than junk diving. We like walking towards the back to gander at the luxurious bookcase stocked with reads, some popular and some quirky. This place is definitely worth a stop just to spend some dollars on something nice, and of course it’s also for a good cause. (SL)
