BEST FLOATING MUSEUM
SYDNEY HERITAGE FLEET
It’s difficult to imagine the competition that the Sydney Heritage fleet was up against. There is no doubt that this collection of decommissioned vessels, which boasts military battleships and a submarine, blew the competition well and truly out of the water a long time ago. Bumping up against its Darling Harbour mooring is also a Medieval Dutch ship and a little red tug boat. As on onlooker there is just something about this place that brings to mind eccentric millionaires and politicians, all dressed as sea captains with eye patches and wooden pipes, sailing around the harbour, looking for anything else that dares to call itself a floating museum.
