NEW THEATRE

“Always real, raw and new” is the manifesto for New Theatre.  While it’s not new (established in 1932) like old wine, we all know some things only get better with age. Thespians young and old still pack the rafters year after year for performances both mainstream and indie. The 2013 season is home to seven Fringe Festival shows, adaptations, and the ever-exciting monologue project. Located in Newtown, it’s intimate and cosy – and just like its suburb – full of character, drama, and excitement. (BW) (RG)
