It’s a gorgeous summer’s day in Sydney (alright, maybe not yet. But soon,) so what the hell are you doing drinking inside a dark city bar? There’s really only one way to enjoy a beer: outside in a sunny beer garden, and The Balmain Hotel has the best we’ve seen yet. The joint was recently refurbished in a funky tiki style, just in time for the sun to come out. It bears a striking resemblance to the kind of minimalist outdoor dining you’d expect to find in tropical countries. (And PS there’s outdoor heating to tide you over in the colder months.) (RP)
