On my last visit to Orange I fell in love with De Salis Wild Chardonnay so I was stoked to hear they’re one of the twenty-two wineries making the trip to the big smoke for Taste Orange @ Sydney on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd August. If you work in the CBD you can be naughty and nip out to Martin Place to sample the bounty of this wonderful wine region during your lunch break (11.30am-2.30pm). For the rest of us, there’s a Pop Up Wine Bar (5pm-8pm) featuring wines like Belgravia, Philip Shaw, Printhie, Cargo Road and Small Acres Cyder! I’m told some local produce will be making the journey too – if my purchases from local gem, A Slice of Orange, were anything to go by, this will be well worth a gander!
