The Morrison has declared August oyster month, and with them doing a $1 oyster shucking happy hour every day between 6pm and 7pm, who’s going to argue? Eat yours propping up the bar drinking ten-buck oyster shots served verdita (pineapple, coriander, jalapeno and mint) or sangrita (tomato, pomegranate and lemon). Follow them with an Oyster Dry Martini ($17) for a shucking good time. They are also putting on a four-course ($99/head) oyster dinner on Tuesday 13th August, as well as two Shuck Me Silly classes (6th and 20th August) where you learn how to open your own!
