Correction

The Alternative Media Group of Australia, publisher of this newspaper, wishes to correct a story carried in The Inner West Independent, City Hub and City News on Thursday, April 25 regarding a Lilyfield family who may have to vacate their home to make way for a childcare centre. The article stated that the house is occupied social housing. It is a standard rental property. The article also stated that if the family is evicted, they would be given 50 days’ notice. They would, in fact, be given 90 days’ notice as required by the Tenancy Act. The Alternative Media Group wishes to correct the record on these facts.
