NEW EMPIRE

NEW EMPIRE

Sydney’s own New Empire has announced they are touring Australia with Neon Trees in May. The combination of the Aussie rock outfit and the extravagant arena-style theatricality of Neon Trees is set to make this a high energy show.

Since New Empire released Come with Me Tonight in 2008, the band has received significant notoriety for their brand of anthem-style pop rock. After touring across Australia for a year and a half, their dynamic, energetic performances began to capture the attention of international artists and saw them supporting the likes of Good Charlotte, Switchfoot and Simple Plan. They were also part of the Vans Warped Tour thrusting them onto the international stage.

Self-produced album Symmetry hit number one on the Australian iTunes Rock Chart, cementing their position as a band to watch. Their single One Heart/Million Voices was the theme song to the Nine Network’s coverage of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

As true up-and-comers on the Australian and International music scene this tour is not to be missed. (ATS)
