THANK GOD IT’S ON STAGE: LOVE FACTUALLY – THE ROMANCE EDITION

The team from ABC 702 Radio’s Thank God It’s Friday are back on stage with Thank God It’s On Stage: Love Factually – The Romance Edition.

Richard Glover hosts an all-star comedy team featuring Wendy Harmer, Jean Kittson, Anthony Ackroyd and Subby Valentine.

“There is nothing like a big audience for comedy and the comedians really rise to the occasion,” says Glover.

In the past Glover has asked his audiences a range of questions and found love is a recurring topic, “I’ve noticed that questions about love, romance, first kisses, dating disasters and all that material often brings up really great stuff,” he says. “It is a more realistic view of what goes on in matters of the heart this time around.”

Normally confined to a small studio, “the energy level just goes through the roof when they’ve got a live audience to play off,” Glover says of the seasoned comedians.

Playing as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival, in between the laughs of Love Factually, Phillip Scott will also entertain the crowd with his musical comedy. (LL)
