Ainslie Wills: The Melbourne singer/songwriter is touring to support the release of her debut album You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine. The moody singer takes elements of blues, rock and soul and augments them with drifting layers of synthesised soundscapes and stirring harmonies. Wills is taking a five-piece live band on the road with her and she’ll also be joined on the night by local performer Elana Stone.

Good Heavens: This brooding psychedelic power trio features Sarah Kelly of Red Sun Band and ex-Wolfmother members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett on bass and drums. Since the release of their debut album Strange Dreams last year the group has been going from strength to strength, leaving impressions with their ambitious  debut as well as their powerful live performances.

Keyim Ba: This eight-piece band boasts a rhythm section born of West Africa and features energetic djembe player Sibo Bangoura, Moussa Diakete (Salif Keita) on guitar, Simon Olsen (Electric Empire) on bass and Yacou Mbaye on talking drum and congas. Spending a night with Keyim Ba involves non-stop dancing to the group’s powerful rhythms, soulful call and response, and the uplifting melodies of the West African kora. Get along for an electric high-energy performance.

David Ryan Harris: The LA based soul singer and guitarist has been working in the background for some time as part of touring acts for John Mayer, Dave Matthews and Santana, however he’s also released plenty of solo material including two albums titled Soulstice and Bittersweet. Harris is embarking on a series of intimate solo shows to showcase some of his work as well as remove himself from the grind of big touring entourages so it’ll be a great opportunity to get up close to a truly talented performer.

Joseph Tawadros: The Egyptian born oud player has just released a new album of jazz and world music titled Chameleon Of The White Shadow. The album features contributions from renowned international musicians such as banjo extraordinaire Bela Fleck, pioneering jazz vibraphone instrumentalist Roy Ayers and bass monster Richard Bona. Tawadros has taken the playing of the traditional middle eastern instrument to virtuosic heights and his latest album is a truly satisfying musical experience.
