DON’T TAKE YOUR LOVE TO TOWN

In her 77 years Doctor Ruby Langford Ginibi experienced ten lives in one. In this one-woman show writers Eamon Flack and Leah Purcell have trimmed 240 pages of memoir into two mesmerising acts. The script is like poetry, so vivid and evocative it will make you laugh and cry (seriously, bring tissues).

Leah Purcell who directs and stars in the production is sensational, leaving audiences captivated. Music is a strong feature with Nardi Simpson using her folky guitar to assist in the storytelling. It also gives audiences a chance to experience Purcell’s powerful voice. A standout production of 2012.
