Directions In Groove

TZU are visiting Sydney to promote their fourth album Millions of Moments. The group have been busy at work evolving their style to encompass more electronic sounds: a direction the group hinted upon in the last record Computer Love. The latest release is a concept album about a mysterious protagonist named Persephone who hurtles through time experiencing love, apocalypse and exploring the various themes that comprise human existence. The first single Beginning of the End is currently enjoying a great reception from fans and critics alike.

Winter People The haunting indie six piece will be releasing their debut album A Year at Sea; a welcome release following their successful headline tour in May/June to promote the rousing single Gallows. Tricia Evy France born and Carribean raised jazz starlet Tricia Evy will be previewing material from her second album that is due out later this year at 505. The singer with the seductive voice inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nat King Cole will be joined by Xavier Richardeau (baritone/tenor sax) and Jean-Phillipe Bourdier (guitar).
