FORTNIGHTLY CINEMA AT JAPAN FOUNDATION

FORTNIGHTLY CINEMA AT JAPAN FOUNDATION

Japan may be facing an unstable reality now but its surreal film culture and our love for it will remain unwaveringly strong. Having gained access to films distributed by MADMEN entertainment, the Japan Foundation now has over 120 new titles to show at its fortnightly free film screenings. And they are going anime crazy with a drama about a cameraman and his subject, a movie star from yesteryears, who get involved in a fantastical journey through time (Millennium Actress) and a teen romantic comedy about love, summer jobs, maths and saving the world (Summer Wars, pictured). Keep checking the website listed below for further films as they are announced. (KS)
