BONDI OPENAIR CINEMA

A branch of the Australian Openair Cinema (other screening venues include St Kilda and Brisbane’s South Bank), Bondi Openair Cinema is a must-do summer event. Following the short film extravaganza Flickerfest, Openair takes over Sydney’s favourite sunburnt venue for 14 days of feature film fun. Start the evening with live music from emerging artists, food and drinks from a licensed bar and great company of a tanned and toned crowd at sunset before the show starts. As the comforting smell of sunblock wafts in the air, enjoy a free scoop of Ben & Jerry’s creamy calorie-filled delight. This offer is valid every Friday at the venue. Highlights in this year’s line up include Gainsbourg, The Social Network, Due Date, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Monsters, Machete, The Breakfast Club, Winter’s Bone, Heathers, The End of the Line and The Tourist.
