International pick-ups no longer cost an arm and a leg
Several weeks ago City Hub published a story bemoaning the exorbitant charges for parking at Sydney Airport’s International Terminal.
The charges made it impossible to pick up passengers without having to shell out for parking.
At the time of writing Sydney Airport had introduced a free 10 minute pick-up area at the domestic terminal. We asked why the same couldn’t be done for the international arrivals area.
Clearly management were thinking the same thing – now the first 15 minutes of parking in the international area free.
The changes came into effect two weeks ago and mean that with a bit of preparation it’s possible to enter the parking area, meet your passenger, and make it out of the boom gate without spending a cent.
