EXHIBITION: INSIDE OUT

EXHIBITION: INSIDE OUT

Once again, science and art have collided, proving that a lack of scale does not equate to a lack of complexity. The pieces on show at Object Gallery currently represent 46 artists’ use of rapid prototyping technology, created using 3D computer modeling techniques. The creations are a view into another world, where the closer you look the more you see the whole. Says Object Director Steven Pozel, “Projects like Inside Out showcase the critical relationship between new technologies and creativity and provide audiences the chance to see groundbreaking technology that will shape our worlds of tomorrow.” The results are something special; it is seemingly impossible to imagine the hand of a human crafting the shapes presented in the 6cmx6cmx6cm boxes. The artists work with movement in its miniature, a look into a rarely seen future.
