Man arrested over Pyrmont bashing
A 19-year-old Leppington man was arrested and will appear in Downing Centre Local Court on August 11 after an alleged brawl at Pyrmont in May.
About 3.30am on Sunday May 18, four men were involved in an altercation with three other men at a gaming facility.
The brawl allegedly began in the elevator and continued into the car park, where it was eventually broken up by a member of the public.
The group of four men then fled the scene in a motor vehicle.
The three men were taken to hospital and treated for bruising and lacerations. One of the men suffered a suspected broken jaw.
Following investigations, the owner of the get away vehicle attended City Central Police Station, and was later arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm. He was granted bail.
